Episode 21 – Interview with Paul Shapera, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Sing Along with the Existential Crisis

cover

On this episode, we have a very special guest, Paul Shapera, creator of The Dolls of New Albion, the brand new Miss Helen’s Weird West Cabaret and many more. Greg and Paul discuss Cabaret, why F#m7 is an amazing chord, flying zombie babies, and what food would be like in New Albion. As always, be sure to comment, share and email. We love hearing from you. Cabaret, as well of the rest of Paul’s works can be found here.

DISCLAIMER: There are some audio issues on this episode because Greg is still trying to figure out how to Skype. Bear with us and we apologize. Greg has been thoroughly reprimanded by Reilly the corgi.

Hi, I really liked your interview with Paul Shapera!

Though, as a film student, who gets some audio classes, I have to suggest… Pleas do ANY sort of audio editing!
Lower your own audio when you’re not talking, so people don’t hear you breathing down their necks 😛

Just trying to help you out, I did really like the interview. 🙂

Yeah…Sorry about that. Paul was great to talk to, and I didn’t do it justice. I had a new mic and hadn’t really nailed down a good way to record over Skype, and it was extra awful that day. Not to shift blame, though. I’m NOT an audio professional (IT tech for hire :)) For more recent episodes I got a better mic and method of recording to balance it better. Hopefully they came out sounding better. Let me know what you think. I’m open to any helpful suggestions. Using Audacity/Garage Band to edit (depending on where we record). -Greg
